In the style of Longines numbering in this era, our watch and the example featured in the Goldberger book share the same "order number," which is the number engraved in the case ours, the second watch of the order, is stamped with "2," and the other, the fourth watch, is stamped with "4." The watch in the book was also made in 1948 and invoiced to Japerica on the same day, Febru– these two pocket watches were likely included in the same shipment from Switzerland to Brazil.
